Michael Murphy, Managing Partner Michael Murphy, BA (Mod), FCA is a graduate in Economics from Trinity College Dublin, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He has 14 years experience in the private equity industry as a senior investment executive with Nadcorp from 1987-1991 and as Chief Executive of NCB Ventures since 1997. He was elected Chairman of the Irish Venture Capital Association in 2003/04 and has been a director of the Association since 1998. He was also a director of the European Venture Capital Association in 2003/04. In addition to private equity, and professional accountancy experience he was a finance director in the period 1992-1997 in a start-up manufacturing company, and with the international consultancy company IDI. He has therefore obtained wide venture capital and industrial experience, in both the public and private sectors, with particular focus on SMEs. |

Leo Hamill, Partner Leo Hamill, BBS, MBA, is a graduate in Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin (1993), and holds a first class honours MBA (1998) from the Michael Smurfit School of Business, where he was the recipient of the Dean's List Award for Academic Achievement. Leo has gained seven years Corporate Finance experience with Merrion Corporate Finance and NCB Corporate Finance. He has extensive corporate finance advisory experience, including IPOs, mergers & acquisitions, private equity fundraisings, MBOs, public to private transactions, strategic business reviews and valuations across a range of sectors. Recent transaction experience include investments by the Ulster Bank Diageo Venture Fund (the "Fund") in HeyStaks Technologies, TerminalFour Solutions and Zamano plc, the Fund's acquisition in conjunction with Pageant Holdings of Xtra-vision from Blockbuster Inc., the purchase of myHome.ie for The Irish Times, the sale of Record Data to Iron Mountain and fundraisings for Irish Broadband, AEP Systems and Leisure Spread (trading as SportSpread.com). Leo is a non-executive director of TerminalFour Solutions Limited, HeyStaks Technologies Limited and Birchall Investments Limited. |

Will Prendergast, Partner Will Prendergast, B. Eng, is a Partner and Kauffman Fellow with NCB Ventures. He holds a first class honours degree in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin. Prior to joining NCB Will worked with Eli Lilly as a process engineer and Accenture in London as a strategy consultant. With Accenture he managed teams in the delivery of operational and strategic reviews for a range of clients in the healthcare, software, consumer goods and life sciences sectors. His assignments have included feasibility and market entry studies, outsourcing strategies, customer relationship management projects and post acquisition integration strategies. Recent investments include Britebill (consumer engagement software), AMCS (ERP software for environmental sector) and Ferfics (semiconductor components). |

John Dolan, Partner John Dolan, BComm, ACA holds a first class honours degree in Commerce from University College Dublin and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has over ten years experience in corporate finance, private equity and venture capital with NCB and Deloitte Corporate Finance. John has worked on a wide range of transactions including recent investments by the Ulster Bank Digeo Venture Fund (the “Fund”) in Gridstore and Helix Health, advising the Mater Private Healthcare on its disposal to Private Equity and Management, Largo Foods on its acquisition of Tayto Crisps Limited from C&C Group plc, National Linen on its disposal to HTS International and private equity fundraisings in excess of €200m for a number of clients including CapVest Private Equity and Canford Healthcare. Within NCB, John is responsible for a number of key client relationships, with a particular focus on private equity and venture capital. John is a non executive Director of Gridstore Limited and Helix Health Group Limited. |

Nicky Conlan, Financial Controller Nicky Conlan, BBS, ACA is a graduate in Business Economics and Social Studies from Trinity College Dublin and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. She spent four years in KPMG's Assurance division, qualifying as an ACA during her time there. She gained significant experience in managing teams performing audits and special assignments. Her client base included blue-chip clients in the pharmaceutical, media, food, beverage and fashion sectors. Nicky also worked on various projects in KPMG's Business Advisory Services and Professional Standards divisions. |

Derek Crawley, Partner, Technology Consultant 20 years of practical experience in ICT sector - web, communications, mobile devices and software, video multimedia, networking, security and IT compliance. As a Technology Investment Consultant to NCB Ventures, Derek advises on projects and leads technical due diligence assignments. Other responsibilities include, company evaluation, research and deal origination He has undertaken product evaluation exercises of investee companies including, Terminal4, Zamano, AMCS, Validsoft, PixAlert, Grid Store, Brite:Bill and Helix Health. |
